  1. I am glad you enjoyed reading your text about the Middle Ages. Did you find the supporting information in the book and on the video helpful to increase your knowledge. I wonder if you can edit your post to include the slide from our reading showing your audience all the extra learning you did to to grow your knowledge about the Middle Ages, as well as all the tasks that you completed. Do you think you are learning more by completing these reading slides and activities I would love to get more feedback on how the class finds doing reading this way.

  3. Kia ora Louis,
You have done an outstanding job creating this story map for ‘Middle Ages Part 1’! I have never read this story before, so I was extremely interested to follow along with the story map and find out what happens in the novel.
It definitely wasn’t good to hear how the family got robbed. Nowadays when somebody gets robbed they take items such as cars, phones and laptops. It makes me wonder what kind of items they would have been looking for/trying to take in the Middle ages. My first guess would be food, because I could imagine how sparse it would have been back then. What do you think the robbers would have been looking for?
You mentioned how if people got caught stealing they would be put to death! It is so crazy to think how strict and tough the rules were back in then!
Would you ever want to live in the middle ages?
It is so cool to hear how you read such an awesome book on history, and the images you have drawn to accompany the book/this story map are fantastic!
    Keep blogging!
