Paper-Copters

 Today my class made paper helicopters and then we had fun racing each other. My paper helicopter was not the best! But lots of people got a good helicopter like Taylor. I like them because they spin a lot till they hit the ground. We did this because it was a reading task and it was related to the story we read where his cat dies and then they stuff it into a remote-controlled helicopter.

How to make

What You'll Need:

• Strips of heavy paper or cardboard (1X10 inches)
• Small paper clips
• Markers or crayons

How to Make Papercopter:

Step 1: Fold a 1X10-inch strip of paper in half. Fold the ends down about two inches, but don't fold them straight down. Instead, fold them at a slight angle.

Place a paper clip on the bottom of your folded paper-copter.

Step 2: Push a paper clip onto the bottom, and fold the wings out. Decorate your paper-copter  with markers or crayons. Holding your paper copter by the paper clip, throw it into the air and watch it spin like a helicopter!

Learning about speed and consequences

 So for my birthday, I got my present  2 months early it was a skateboard I hadn't been riding it for a while so I went back on it 2 days ago after a break. I learned that I could go speedy and I learned I could go to speedy and fall off! That was a moment I'd never forget. The good thing was that I had protection on! I've gotten a lot better I bearly fall anymore but you never know.  

Colage

This is my college, it is a Shiba Inu with a Dinosaur head, bears body, tarantula tail, butterfly wings, Shrek legs, and Shiba Inu ears. This is the 2nd collage I’ve ever done! I think I could do better I just don't know what to do! Can you give me any ideas? This was a catastrophe because I have made the background is a bit too busy. I like the background because it's like he is in a forest for magical creatures only! What do you think? Should I change the background or not? I loved doing this task! If you do give me any suggestions I will blog about this again! I didn't use any copyright because I got it from explore tool from my google drawing I used the crop on some of the images like the bear.

Barrier game

Today my class did something called a barrier game. Barrier game is a game where one person sees the picture the other person can't see the picture but has the shapes that they need to make the person or something like that. My favorite one that we did was a house with a lot of different things. My partner was Sofia.  Have you ever played this game? I enjoyed it a lot and it's one of my favorite things this year!    

El Grego!

Yesterday Kaniere school all came to one room and we all watched El Grego. I could tell everybody was amazed we all watched his amazing magic I was blown away! He made parrots come from nowhere the trick I liked the most is when Sam was on a bed kind of thing with a balloon strapped on him. Then El Grego took the bed away and took the balloon off the balloon had heleim in it bye the way. took everything that could hold on to him away he was still floating he was flying!   

Bubble animatoin

Today my class went to Ruma Kotuku. Shae and I made a bubble with Maddie inside, because Maddie was our partner. I would have made this animation longer but it would take to long to watch. I enjoyed this a lot because we got to teach Maddie how to do it. Then Maddie showed us how draw and  record on her iPad it was fun!

Egg challange

We did the weekly challenge sadly we couldn't upload a video into our blogger we got a pretty good try when we did we waited 6 days for it the first time we only waited 1 day but we didn't get a video of that as well. At least we did get a pretty good score  65 centimeters! Or 60 I don't remember I think we are going to get first! We did this activity because  Mrs. King had set the activity and we thought it would be fun!       

Sort The Comments With Lincoln!

Lincoln and I have made an activity called Sort the Comments, we had to sort the good and bad comments Eg. Good job Jeromemy Love your post. Thats the little eg. Anyways I really enjoyed this it was one of the funnist things I've done this term. We did it because if we didn't we wouln't know what is a good blog comment and what is a bad blog comment or just a comment on something. its a part of cyber smart Mrs M showed us it.

Chain reaction

Today we did chain reactions. The teacher put some "white powder" in these little glasses. We got to choose our partner. I chose Frank, when we were given our little "glasses",Chris gave us a small bowl of water and a spoon, we were only allowed to put one spoon of water in at a time, so that we could count how many we put in. The powder kept on getting bigger when we put the water in, it started to turn into a jellyfish. Then when I put the salt in it started to turn back to water. I liked it because we could watch the stuff go up. 

St johns

Today we went to St Johns in the library, it was fun. It lasted till morning tea and we went at about 9:13 this morning. First we had a to see how to do it so she showed how to do it on Jack T. I don't have much information about this because I had to go to my music practice. But remember that we had to check there airway (so bacicllay just checking if they are breathing) DRSAB stands for Danger, Response,Send for help,airway and breathing. a airway is a thing that lets you breath. Sending for help means calling 111.  111 go's to the anbalance, police and fire fighters.    

   

 

bring your toy to school day (:

Last week the whole school has been bringing a toy to school. It is very fun I brought a few toys I brought Picho the pokemon ,a dog,and a Polar bear. By the way ,the green bear is not mine, its Kaya's its a gummy bear  and its name is Green bear. I call Picho 'Peach' and I don't have a name for the polar bear., can you help me? 

The dogs name is Felix. I liked the 'bring your toy to school day' because we don't usually bring toys to school. The purpose was to have a picnic with it on Friday.                                      

BMX Track

I went to a BMX track on Sunday morning it was really fun I could do jumps but I didn't because I have not had. Enough experience yet I stayed there for about like 1 hour to 30 mins there isn't much stuff to talk about for this track. 

 

Jackson Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was Jacksons birthday 4 days ago. He tured 2 years old  we olso got dog roll but mum didn't get a piture because it was smelly. I got  a video but you cant put vidoes in a blog Baxter is still 1 year old. But we gave him the same stuff it that Jackson got was hard for Jackson to eat the hole thing of beef but Baxter could do it so we had to cut it up. For Jackson then he was able to eat the beef Baxter is a feisty eater did you know that Baxter acculy nods his head. To see if he can eat the food before he eats so we nod back then he eats but he didn't do that. With the food that we gave him on Jackson's birthday.   

Dodo or a camel stick

we went to the beach the other day and then fond a sitck that looked like a camel  or a dodo. But we also fond a slingshot made of wood. the corba shaped like a stick. The camel/dodo is Soras. The Corba is mine the slingshot is both of ours.

Our Dogs walk

This is Baxter going on a walk, he was curuous about everything.  When Baxter does a poo we have to pick it up with plastic bags. But he thinks he can just run away after he does a poo. Then we have to pull him back then mum picks up the poo's. Now Jacksons walk we could not find a picture when he was doing a walk. But we fond one after the walk. Jacksons walk was very pully. Jackson pulled dad. and dad Pulled Jackson.  Jackson went through a short cut down a hill and baxter went the longer way so they meet up down baxters hill then they sniffed eachother then dogs huged eachothere.

I fixed my pictures because you couldn't not see them before

so I checked my blogs on my mums computer and i saw that you couldn't see my photos because i got them from my gmail and dragged them in to my blog but now you can see them because i screen shotted them. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😀😁😁😃😄

we tried to make a poppy but we made a dog

We used the same instructions to make some poppies  but we made a dog. Mum and I tried to make a plastic poppy, we had to light a candle and burn the plastic bottle. But first we had to cut the bottle to look like a poppy. Then we had to colour it in red and black but when we finished it did not look like a poppy so we are going to give you a video that we took when we were burning it.  I enjoyed burning the poppy the most.    we thought we could give me a video but we cant unfortunately. so we just gave you me cutting the bottle and burning the poppy but its a picture.   

this blog post is about being in Quarantine

its been stage four for a few days now we made muffins or big cupcakes and decorated them.
Another day we completely renovated all the rooms! We painted, and moved some furniture into the room. On a different day my family and I went on a huge bike ride!  Sadly we only have pictures from the time we baked so here are some pictures of that!                                                           

getting my infected tooth out

When I got my tooth out I did not know it was out it only hurt like a pinch in your mouth but ITS A GIANT HOLE! I took my antibiotics to help it go down
I was surprised how weird it looked it had roots clinging on to gum I think. After getting it out we got chocolate.  I got it out in a dental van next to the Greymouth hospital.
